Sarah Green
Pilates for Cancer
Sarah first discovered the restorative benefits of Pilates after being diagnosed with
endometrial cancer at the age of 45. Following surgery, she turned to Pilates to rebuild her
core strength, mobility, and trust in her body. Reformer Pilates became a key part of her
recovery, helping her regain control, confidence, and a sense of possibility.
Motivated by her own experience, Sarah now supports others on their recovery journey. She
is certified in Pilates for breast cancer rehabilitation, is a Level 4 Cancer Rehabilitation
Exercise Specialist, and holds a certificate in Exercise Medicine for Cancer Care. Alongside
her professional work, she volunteers with several local cancer charities, offering accessible
Pilates classes to help individuals regain strength and confidence after treatment.
Sarah’s teaching is shaped by empathy, understanding, and lived experience. Her online
mat Pilates classes provide a safe, encouraging space for anyone navigating life during or
after cancer treatment. She focuses on gentle, functional movement that supports recovery,
reduces fear, and helps people reconnect with their bodies at their own pace.
Whether rebuilding strength, improving mobility, or restoring confidence, Sarah is committed
to helping every person feel supported, empowered, and capable throughout their recovery.
