Medical waiver / Terms & Conditions for Membership

By agreeing to these terms and conditions I have read and fully accept this Medical Disclaimer.

Get Me Back offers a range of physical exercise programmes for people affected by cancer.

As with all fitness and exercise programmes, when using this online fitness membership you need to use your common sense. To reduce and avoid injury, you must check with your doctor before beginning any fitness programme. By performing any fitness exercises without supervision, you are performing them at your own risk. Get Me Back Limited will not be responsible or liable for any injury or harm you sustain as a result of this fitness programme, online fitness videos or information shared on our website and app. This includes emails, videos and text.

GET ME BACK Membership

I understand that I am participating in online exercise classes and videos offered by Get Me Back Ltd during which I will receive information and instruction about physical exercise and health advice after a cancer diagnosis. I recognise that exercise requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

The Get Me Back membership is designed for those who have completed their active cancer treatment and once the participant has been given the all clear to partake in physical activity such as strength and cardiovascular training. Individuals who are currently undergoing cancer treatment may also participate where they have been advised or given clearance by an appropriate healthcare professional that exercise is suitable for them. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a medical professional (such as an oncologist, doctor, nurse specialist and/or physiotherapist) prior to and regarding my participation in the workouts and exercises offered by Get Me Back. I understand that the exercise classes, videos and information provided by Get Me Back are not designed for me personally, and if I require further adaptations, I will need to seek extra support.

Health Declaration (PAR-Q Screening)

By accepting these terms, I confirm that:

I have either completed active cancer treatment or have been advised by a healthcare professional that exercise is appropriate for me during treatment.
I am not aware of any medical condition, other than cancer or treatment effects already managed with my healthcare team, that would prevent my full participation in fitness classes and videos.
I do not experience unexplained chest pain, dizziness, fainting, or severe shortness of breath during normal activity.
I do not have any joint, bone, heart or neurological condition that makes exercise unsafe without medical clearance.
I am not currently advised by a medical professional to avoid physical activity.

I understand that if I develop new pain, unusual muscle weakness, dizziness, chest pain or other sudden symptoms, I must stop exercising immediately and seek medical advice before continuing.

I acknowledge that acceptance of these terms replaces completion of a separate health questionnaire and that I am responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for me. I understand that it is my responsibility to inform Get Me Back if my medical condition, treatment status, or ability to exercise safely changes, and to seek appropriate medical advice before continuing participation.

I understand that all information provided in this membership is based on professional opinion and reflects evidence-based research. It is not meant to substitute medical advice. I agree that I should consult with my oncology team for individualised guidance.

I can confirm that only I will view the membership content and I shall not publish the content or share access with anyone else. Only those who have purchased and accepted these terms and conditions will view the content of the members only community. Get Me Back reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where membership content is shared without permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I, my heirs and/or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Get Me Back Limited or other health professionals contributing to the community for any injury caused by their negligence or other acts.

I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents.

I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above under my own free will.

Cancelling monthly memberships

If accessing the Get Me Back community with a monthly subscription, users are responsible for cancelling their account when they no longer require it.

To cancel:
Log-in > My Subscriptions > under subscriptions you can cancel there. You will still have access to the community for one month after your last payment date.

Please kindly note that refunds are considered in exceptional circumstances only.

Monthly memberships are rolling monthly payments that can be paused or cancelled at any time. LIVE classes will NOT run on UK bank holidays and for a short period between Christmas and New Year. However, full access to the on-demand library and recorded programs will be available to monthly members during this time. Get Me Back reserves the right to make reasonable changes to class schedules, instructors, or programme content where necessary.

Data Protection and Privacy

Personal information provided when joining or using the membership is processed in accordance with the Get Me Back Privacy Policy available on our website. Information is used only for providing membership services, communication, and service improvement.
