Restoration

Recovery from cancer is a gradual process. Even when treatment finishes, your body continues to heal. It can be helpful to find restorative strategies to support your physical and mental wellbeing.  Yoga is a fantastic way to soothe and calm the body from the inside out. Finding ways to manage any ongoing physical treatment side-effects will help you thrive beyond cancer.

Yoga is a great way to take some time to relax and focus on yourself. The yoga poses and breathing techniques practised during yoga can soothe and calm the body from the inside out.

Stretch & relaxation

Ensure your continue to regain mobility and flexibility after treatment. But also spend additional time to stretch will help you remain injury free as you rebuild your strength.

If you continue to experience physical side effects of treatment or surgery, consider seeing a specialist physio to help with specific physical issues relating to cancer and treatment.

Marcia offers classes to help build back mobility and strength in the body, as well as calm the mind through breathwork and meditation practices.
